Dear IBSH parents and alumni,

We are aware that many of our alumni are likely to return to Taiwan in the following weeks due to the situation where many U.S./European colleges and universities have recently just shut down. We normally welcome alumni on campus to visit their former teachers and younger friends as a model of success after high school. However, under current circumstances, we are saddened that this cannot be the case.

We place everyone’s health as our highest priority and it is with our deepest regret that we issue this statement. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that is currently going on, our campus is exercising extra caution by restricting entry to all alumni.

To avoid the risk of any flaw in our epidemic prevention, we will not accept any alumni homecoming visits this semester.

We apologize for being the bearer of bad news and hope that our IBSH family can be understanding of our decision.
