Dear IBSH teachers, students and parents,

由於本週台灣本土的確診案例增加，疫情防疫指揮中心已於五月十一日公告，即日起至6月8日將疫情警戒標準提升至第二級。本校防疫小組配合疫情指揮中心之公告，明日起採取以下防疫措施，懇請全校師生共同配合。

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that in response to the increased risk of community transmission caused by local cases of unknown sources of infection in Taiwan, it would raise epidemic warning to Level 2 from May 11 to June 8^th .

NEHS epidemic prevention committee has decided to upgrade our prevention protocol. Here are the procedures we need everyone to follow starting from May 13rd (Thursday).

1.全校師生進入校園一律全程配戴口罩。惟體育課可視室外社交距離作調整。

Everyone needs to wear a mask at all times on campus.

During P.E. class, the teachers may make modification when the class can keep social distance (1 meter) outdoor.

2.請大家來上學前，務必先在家裡量體溫，為了確保每個人在進教室之前能再次確認體溫，請您務必協助讓孩子在上午7:50以前抵達學校。如果超過8:00到校，也請提請孩子到辦公室先量體溫。

Everyone needs to measure his/her temperature at home before coming to school. To ensure that there is ample time to measure students’ temperature before entering the classroom, please have your kids arrive at school by 7:50 am. If they arrive later than 8:00 am., they must report to the office first.

3.請家長幫孩子準備5個口罩放在書包備用。
Parents please prepare 5 masks for your children in their backpack.

4.請經常洗手，並落實每日的班級消毒工作。
Please wash your hands frequently and to complete the disinfection clean-up rigorously and authentically everyday in the classroom.

5.學校白門上午8:20前不開放，請大家利用紅門出入。 

下午 4:00-4:40 通往園區的伊藤萬出入口禁止車輛進入，接送孩子的家長請勿將車輛開進校園。

The white gate in the back entrance will not open by 8:20 a.m.. Please use the red gate. Vehicles are NOT allowed to enter campus from the gate near the New Gym. The gate near the new Gym will be closed from 16:00-16:40 only allowing cars to leave the campus. Please do not drive your car into campus to pick up your child(ren).

6.學校所有集會活動須符合室內100人、室外500人之限制。

 109學年度畢業典禮將採取以下措施辦理:

 六月二日雙語部畢業典禮，將於當日上午於室外風雨操場舉行。

 典禮僅開放六、九、十二年級畢業生及家長參加，十一年級不參加。

 表演節目部分僅播放影片，現場僅開放十二級畢業生表演。

 每位畢業生可有兩位家人參加典禮，且必須配合實聯制提前登記報名。

All school assemblies and activities need to follow the capacity limitation—indoor events cannot have more than 100 participants and outdoor activities cannot have more than 500 participants.

The graduation ceremony for Class of 2021 will be hold in the covered basketball courts in the morning on June 2^nd . The ceremony is only open to the Gr. 6, Gr. 9 and Gr. 12 students and their parents. Gr. 11 will have regular class on that day. There will be only senior’s performance on the stage. Gr. 6 and Gr. 9 will be video type only. Every family may have two participants joining the ceremony and has to register online beforehand. More information will be announced later.

 7.九、十二年級畢業校外教學活動目前未取消，如有最新消息會盡快通知家長。

The graduation trip is not cancelled. If there is any update in the following weeks, we will inform students and parents ASAP.

 8.全校游泳課即日起暫停上課。

There will be no swimming class during P.E. sections

 9.即日起課後及假日，校園暫停對外開放

School will NOT be open to the public during afterschool and weekend to support all efforts of epidemic prevention.

 10. 即日起所有訪客及家長，進入校園請戴口罩，包含到校期間的接送與中午送午餐。我們鼓勵家長培養孩子的獨立自主能力，這段期間盡量讓孩子自己進校門。如您必須進校門接送或送餐，請務必在一樓並盡速離開，切勿進入教學區。

All visitors and parents must wear a mask when entering the campus, which include parents accompanying child(ren) to school and delivering lunch, effective IMMEDIATELY.

We encourage parents to let students enter the school gates by themselves, which will also help develop their independence.  If parents do enter, they must stop on the first floor. Please do not enter the teaching areas.

 11.家長如有事需要與老師相談,請盡量以電話或電子郵件的方式。如必要與老師見面,請務必事先預約,並配合學校警衛量測體溫。

If any parent needs to contact the teachers, please use telephone or email and avoid coming to school. If you need to come to school, please DO make an appointment in advance and have your temperature measured at the gate. Please help us minimize the exposure of our students to more people by choosing to communicate from home rather than come to school.
