The Guidance Counselors are here to serve the academic, social and emotional needs of our student body at IBSH.
Guidance Counselors provide weekly guidance lessons for students and individual counseling to students and their families.

Guidance Counseling Director
Ms. Joyce Wu 輔導組—吳宥蓉組長 Ext. 6301
	Oversees the Student Support Team and ensures accurate management of MOE-mandated crisis and emergency reporting. Plans and hosts comprehensive workshops, as well as new student orientations, for staff, students, and parents. Provides cross-grade parent consultations and specialized guidance for Taiwanese college applications.
Gr. 1-5 Guidance Counselor
Mr. Paul Stambaugh 國小輔導老師—施保羅 Ext. 6302
	Provides foundational social-emotional support and conducts new student adjustment interviews for a smooth transition. Manages tailored learning plans to support early academic and developmental needs. Facilitates parent consultations to empower families in their child's educational journey.
Ms. Lan Nguyen 國中輔導老師—阮清蘭老師 Ext. 6303

Gr. 10-12 Guidance & College Counselor
Mrs. HannaH Rash 國外大學升學輔導教師—樂涵娜老師 Ext. 6304
	Provides individualized consultation for course selection to align with students' future goals.                                                  Guides students and parents through the complexities of the college application and admission process. Coordinates university visits and placement strategies to connect students with their best-fit institutions.

Learning Support Teacher
Ms. Maggei Hu 特殊教育老師—胡曼琪老師 Ext. 6307
	Coordinates special education services and resources.                                                                                                                Develops and oversees Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Delivers tailored learning support to help every student succeed.

ESOL Service Teacher
Mrs. Jessica Wang 英語補救教學教師—顏春玉老師 Ext. 6308
	Coordinates standardized testing to accurately assess and monitor students' learning performance.                                       Enhances English language learners' proficiency across reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Empowers students to build confidence and seamlessly integrate into the bilingual academic environment.

Therapist
Ms. Ming-I Sun 專聘諮商人員—孫明儀老師 Ext. 6310
	Provides tailored individual and family counseling to support students' emotional well-being.                                                  Facilitates parental consultations to strengthen family dynamics and home support systems.
